SA TV is owned by SA Group, one of the country’s largest transportation and real estate groups. SATV is the first channel to bring ‘Idol’ series in Bangladesh through Bangladeshi Idol.

“SATV” started its control broadcast from December 25, 2012, followed by a comprehensive 24-hour commercial launch on January 19, 2013, bringing high quality programming for our audiences all over the world. The SATV family consists of young and energetic people as well as highly experienced professionals in the media industry.
We are also pleased to report that cable operators across the country have started broadcasting SATV on their networks. Our long-term vision is to expand our footprint across the Middle East, USA and UK as well as South Asia.
