Sharjah Sports Channel started operating under the umbrella of Sharjah Media Corporation in 2007 as an independent sports platform specialized in field coverage and media support for various sports events and tournaments.
In addition to organizing the Sharjah Desert Sports Festival every year, the channel covers the most important events such as the Arab Women’s Club Championship, speedboat races, Sharjah International Cycling Tour, the Belgian Football League and other local, Arab and international sports competitions.
