His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi opened the opening of the Sharjah Channel under the name of “United Arab Emirates Sharjah TV” in 1989 to represent a cultural lantern.

As His Highness suggests, especially the thought, literature, and local values of the region so that the Channel is a light guest in every Emirati house, offering audiences a variety of programs addressing social, cultural and political issues.

But you can find all kinds of culture on Sharjah TV.

While it was originally created for Emirates families, it also includes programs that engage non-Arab people living in the UAE.
